15+ years of massage in Tulsa

Our Story

Madsen Massage began in 2010 inside a small, shared room on Brookside with a single table, fresh linens, and a quiet dream to offer genuine, relational care. Through slow, intentional growth—and navigating a move to 16th and Boston following a building fire—that dream expanded into a thriving practice supported by an incredible client family.

In 2018, we found our permanent sanctuary inside "The Manhattan." The moment we walked through the doors, we felt an immediate sense of warmth, peace, and creative inspiration. Over the years, we have grown from two treatment rooms to adding a third in the winter of 2025, continuously honoring the charm of our historic building while expanding our talented team. We are deeply grateful for every client who walks through our doors and allows us to be part of their wellness journey.

THE Manhattan
A HISTORIC LANDMARK

Madsen Massage is housed within The Manhattan, a historic Craftsman home built in 1913 as the Manager's Cottage for the Manhattan Court Apartments. Saved from demolition in 1992, the cottage was relocated and painstakingly restored by renowned Tulsa architect John Brooks Walton, who used it as his personal office for years and featured it in his book, One Hundred Historic Tulsa Homes.

We are honored to steward this architectural jewel. We strive to bring the same level of care, craft, and attention to detail to our bodywork practice as Mr. Walton brought to restoring this historic space.
